When the crew of the space station slowly woke up from their centuries-long hibernation, and opened the viewing windows onboard to see where the mobilized platform had taken their people, they did not have words to express what they saw before them. Instead of the Andromedan planetoid they charted a course to, there was another structure, equal in size but built out of inorganic materials that looked like metal and stone fused together. Stranger still, the orb was surrounded by a neon green glow, a membrane of some kind, through which one could glimpse a completely different star system. As they arrived at the edge of this cosmic event, so too did this strange and unexplainable...thing.
